Celebrate Your Flaws believes that being kind and encouraging to others is a great way to improve your mood. While you are always welcome and encouraged to post about your personal experiences, please take a moment to peruse the threads and lend some support.
There is a zero tolerance policy on debating religion and politics. These things can often cause stress in our lives, so you are welcome to mention them in your posts (as long as you do so in a kind and open-minded way). Whether you agree or disagree with someone’s opinion on these matters, please do not discuss this in the thread. There is a lot of division in the world right now, and we do not want that affecting the positive support system we are building on Celebrate Your Flaws.
Life is hard, and the battle with depression can be so overwhelming. If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm or suicide, you may discuss them here, but please also consider seeking help from a professional. There is an excellent list of resources available here. We will make every effort we can to help you find immediate help. You are loved, and you are never alone.
Remember that we are all here because we are living with mental illness or love someone who is. Love, support, and education are paramount to our recoveries and though we have not all been through the same things, we have all been through something. Please be sensitive to everyone when posting and commenting, and include trigger warnings when you are discussing subject matter that may be hurtful to others.
